Every winter I share outfit ideas here on the channel—but today I wanted to do something a little different. Instead of showing you hypothetical outfits or fantasy wardrobes, I wanted to show you what I actually wear in my real life during a Florida winter.
These are outfits for:
- Working from home
- Running errands
- Meeting friends
- Going out for dinner
- Going to church
- Traveling
- And yes… couch days too
Because style shouldn’t be something you only “put on” for special occasions. Your everyday life is the occasion.
In today’s video I shared 15 outfits that I genuinely rotate through—grouped into three real-life dress codes that every woman needs:
MY THREE REAL-LIFE DRESS CODES
1. At-Home (But Make It Cute)
Outfit 1:

If you’re at home a lot (and most of us are), what you wear there matters. Loungewear doesn’t need to mean “sloppy.”
My at-home formulas:
- A cozy but polished top (sweater, cardigan, soft blouse)
- A comfortable structured pant (knit, travel pant, soft trouser)
- Shoes you could leave the house in
The goal is this: comfortable enough to relax, nice enough to run to the store.

Smart casual = elevated everyday.
Think:
- Corduroy or silk pants instead of leggings
- Midi skirts + sweaters
- Structured cardigans or jackets
- Sneakers, boots, or slingbacks that feel intentional
Smart casual outfits should be:
- Comfortable
- Flexible
- Outfit-repeating friendly
- Polished without being overdressed
If you build this category well, your wardrobe will finally work for you.

This is for:
- Date night
- Church
- Dinner out
- Special moments that still happen in everyday life
For these outfits, I focus on:
- Elevated fabrics (silk, velvet, satin, suede)
- A bit more glam
- A great shoe
- One standout detail (color, texture, or shine)
And remember: almost anything can be “date-night ready” with a shoe swap, lip color, and intention.
FIVE STYLE RULES I LIVE BY
1. Shoes Set the Mood
You always wear your shoes.
A single outfit can go casual or dressy just by changing what’s on your feet.
The shoe is often the real statement piece.
2. Texture Works Like Print
If prints feel intimidating, use texture instead:
- Ribbed knits
- Leather
- Suede
- Satin
- Cashmere
Texture adds personality without feeling loud.
3. Color Is the Statement
A pop of color instantly:
- Elevates basics
- Adds confidence
- Softens neutrals
- Makes an outfit memorable
Color does some of the heavy lifting—so you don’t have to work so hard.
4. Matching Is Allowed (Just Don’t Go Matchy-Matchy)
Monochrome outfits are:
- Chic
- Easy
- Effortlessly modern
Matching doesn’t mean outdated.
It just needs to be intentional.
5. Dress for the Life You Actually Have
Not the life you wish you lived.
Not the fantasy version of you.
Look back at your last two weeks.
Where did you go?
What did you do?
What did you actually wear?
That’s your real wardrobe blueprint.
MY STYLE CHALLENGE FOR YOU
If you only take one thing from this entire video:
Find your favorite color—and wear it more.
Life is too short for boring outfits.
There is no reason everyday clothes should feel dull.
Whether you’re:
- On the couch
- Out for dinner
- Running errands
- Or traveling
You deserve to feel like the best version of yourself.
