This probably isn’t going to surprise any of you, but I’m a little obsessed with shoes. So it was hard to narrow this list of modern classic shoes down to 9, but since we are talking about modern classics, I chose the styles that I think are most indispensable in a modern wardrobe.
Disclaimer: There are a couple of heels on this list. If you can’t/won’t wear heels, then don’t wear heels. A flat version of these styles will work equally well.
These shoes are chic and versatile and have a modern timelessness to them that won’t make you cringe in a few years. They are favorites that work across a wide variety of outfits and will complete every fall look with style.
