It’s easy to overcomplicate things when it comes to style, but the fundamentals really don’t change. Buy good quality clothes that fit and flatter you and that you also love, and wear them on repeat. The more you know about any topic, style included, the more you can take creative license and bend or break a few rules. And there are truly very few rules. But there are suggestions, tips, that can help us refine our own style and create an expression of who we are through clothes that transcend trends. Tips like the ones here.

Thank you so much Terry! Glad you love Leopard too. IN my system you sound like a Deep, which encompasses Deep Winter and Deep Autumn. Knowing what you love is such an important step! I appreciate the comment!

Great question Jen! So I would consider that light neutral, the color of your hair, as the light or medium neutral in your wardrobe, but you could have black as your other neutral. I think we should all have 3 neutrals in our wardrobes: a light one, a medium one (often a denim blue) and a dark one (in your case black). But considering your light neutral and not your dark neutral for some key accessories can really lift your wardrobe. And you can definitely still wear the black clothes.

Hi Nada
My go to pattern is leopard print. I have dark Auburn hair and blue eyes. I am pretty sure I am a Winter but not sure what style dial I am. Maybe a red. I love silver jewelry and hate gold. I hate destressed anything. I love the Classic look. I really liked this video as it has some great tips.

If I have blonde hair, my neutral should be taupe, cream ect so lighter. However I like to wear black for the slimming effect especially with pants and skirts. Any advice on selecting the neutral? Thanks!
