A friend of mine recently shared a picture of her family’s meal plan on her Instagram stories, and that gave me an idea. Instead of sharing my meal plan (since it’s not really in a plan and mostly in my head), I thought it might be fun to share a week of outfits, because an outfit plan is something I talk about all the time.
Life gets busy, and if we want to get up and get dressed every day, and feel good doing it, it helps to have your outfits planned for the week. Or even for the next day. It just makes life so much easier.
I laid these outfits out ahead for the week, and with small tweaks here and there, I tend to stick with my plan. This non-morning person finds it much easier to get up in the morning when I know what I’m going to wear!
You won’t find any evening gowns here. Just a week of simple outfits for a casual out-and-about and work-from-home lifestyle. Plus outfit formulas you can recreate with your own clothes.
You can shop the items (or similar) from these outfits in this catalog.
Sunday: Graphic Tee + Silky Slip Skirt + Fun Shoes
Church calls for a cute outfit that I can also move around in, as I spend one of the services watching the babies in the nursery. A slip skirt and tee are a go-to for me because it’s easy and so comfortable.
Tee (old, but a cute graphic tee) / Skirt (similar) / Shoes
Newbella Shoes: 18% discount code NBNFQ18

Monday: Bodysuit + Silky Pants + Loafers
I am obsessed with these comfy silk pants from LilySilk, and this bodysuit kept the look sleek. Mondays are busy so comfort is a priority. I have a live video, then a Bible study, dinner at my mom’s house, and then I host a workshop in the evening.
Bodysuit (similar) / Pants / Loafers
Lilysilk: Use Code NADA12

Tuesday: Simple Dress + Cap Toe Ballet Flats
Another busy day, Tuesday is a YouTube video release day, plus another workshop and after school activities with my younger daughter. This particular day I wanted to be comfortable but pulled together.
Actually, I want that every day. That’s why I chose this sleeveless (washable) silk Everlane dress and my new Vivaia Aria cap-toe ballet flats.
Code: NADA12 for LilySilk
Code: 12NADA for Vivaia

Wednesday: Printed top + Faux Leather Shorts + Ballet Flats
Wednesday is my video shooting day, so I don’t change into my outfit of the day until after I am done shooting. (Faux) leather shorts are a Florida-friendly way to feel like fall but still stay cool.

Thursday: Jumpsuit + Heels
Another Florida fall cheat – fallish colors with a Florida-friendly style. The strappy Franco Sarto heels can be switched out for boots, but a jumpsuit is a great choice for a one-and-done outfit in the fall.
Jumpsuit (old, but love this one) / Heels (similar)

Friday: Long Sleeved Dress + Statement Shoes
Friday is another YouTube premiere, and then I often find myself out and about, catching up with friends or going to appointments. And then usually there’s a date night in the evening, or a casual get-together with friends. This was definitely that kind of day, so I wanted something to take me from tea with my sister and cousin, lunch with a friend, a waxing appointment, picking up Eva from school, and date night.

Saturday: Statement Dress + Mules
Saturday is all over the place, and often includes errands, catching up around the house, and social activities. I love a statement dress because it does all the work, and all you need to do is add shoes.
As you can see, I’ve been wearing these shoes on repeat.
Dress (this is old, but another from the same brand) / Mules

Sunday Night: Cami + Silky Trench + Leather Joggers + Boots
I love the combo I pulled together for spy night at our church youth group, where I volunteer. The cami and trench are from LilySilk, and the Blank NYC joggers are in regular rotation in fall and winter. But the star of this outfit is the brand new pair of Regina Pro boots from Vivaia. They are ridiculously comfortable and SO MUCH FUN!
Joggers (similar) / Cami / Trench / Boots
