Something is definitely wrong here.
I’m shopping for boots while wearing a gauzy dress designed to touch my skin as little as possible because it is so hot that fabric feels like a punishment. And stores are filled with sweaters and bikinis. At the same time.
It must be August in Florida, where the same cozy classics that line the shelves of northern department stores with an actual nip in the air find their way onto our shelves, even though the temps still hover around 95 degrees.
But as odd as it seems, August is the perfect time to start shopping for fall and planning those outfits, because by the time the weather catches up, the good stuff will be gone. Plus, if you buy fall clothes now, you’ll be able to wear them longer.
Today, I’m talking about navigating that tricky transition between summer and fall, and how to transition 7 of your favorite summertime staples into chic, wearable fall outfits.
And all of the items can be found at Zara and I’ve put them all in this catalog.
