You know all of those cute dresses and fun affordable styles that cross your feed when you’re scrolling through social media. Don’t you ever wonder if they’re any good? I do! I see new companies and brands every day and wonder if what you see is really going to be what you get.
I’m pretty sure we all wonder about these brands, because I get lots of questions about them.
But when I first spotted Rihoas, I was seriously intrigued. I loved their effortless feminine French-inspired styles, the wide assortment of options, and of course, the prices. I had a few items in my cart already when Rihoas first reached out to me, and I was so excited to work with them. I ordered my first couple of dresses, and instantly became a fan. The brand quickly became a go-to for affordable dresses for special events, from weddings to holidays.
The value is also really good, and comparable or better than other dresses in the same price range, but the styles and selection are so much better.
I was thrilled with these 6 spring dresses, and plan to wear them all spring and summer long. Here, my 6 favorite dresses (and one sweater!) from Rihoas. For more picks, check this catalog.
Here are the links to the dresses I tried on (show below). The pics of the dresses are also linked. Don’t forget to use code NadaM for 20% off:

The Dresses
If found that all of these dresses fit True to Size. I ordered them all in the smallest size available, which was XS in most cases (except for the striped dress, which is a Small).
Because of the forgiving fit, this dress comes in more limited size range of S-L.

Stripe Tassel Midi Dress

This dress is a really lightweight knit, like a very fine sweater knit, with tassel detail at the bottom. It does have a keyhole opening, so you will want to watch the strapless bra here and go for a more plunging style. It is very light, comfortable and breathable. I ordered a size Small, the smallest size available, and the dress skims the body but is definitely not fitted, nor is it designed to be. I probably would have ordered an XS if this dress came in that size.

Square neck floral shirred midi dress (black)

This is one of my favorites. I love the print. The material is lightweight and silky. I love the neckline and the sleeves and the ruching detail on the side. I will probably have this hemmed. It fit True to Size. I ordered an XS and it fit great. This dress was a little bit hard to zip up the first time (not because it was tight) but after that it was totally fine.
This dress is available in size XS-XL (0-14/16).

Red square neck long sleeve short dress

This is such a fun and wearable dress. I wore it out to a birthday dinner with friends. I definitely prefer knee-length or shorter dresses on me, as a petite, and this one is a good wearable length. I wore this out to dinner with my friends. This one had a tricky zipper as well, but again only the first time. I ordered my true to size XS. It is a lightweight chiffon material with a velvet belt that ties in the back.
This dress is available in size XS-XL (0-14/16).

Puff sleeve solid midi dress

I can’t believe this dress was only $26. I love it! I will definitely wear shapewear and a strapless bra with this, but I love the fit and find it really flattering. It’s very comfortable and I find the slit to be the perfect length, but that is personal preference for sure. My husband took this pic and he is tall so I look shorter. 🙂
This dress is available in size XS-XL (0-14/16).

Pearl strap side slit floral midi dress

This is a little reminiscent of this Averie dress that I love. The pearl straps are such a pretty and elegant detail in such an affordable dress, and it even comes with an extra strap. Also love the ruching here, which is very flattering. This is a lightweight satin material the print shows through to the other side, rather than being white on the inside as many other dresses in this price range would be… I love this dress and think it’s a great choice for a special event.
This dress is available in size XS-XL (0-14/16).

Side split off the shoulder midi dress

This is the most expensive dress of the haul at $43. It is fitted through the bodice and then opens up to a flowy skirt. It is a lightweight woven material similar to the red midi dress. It is designed to be worn off the shoulder but can also be worn slightly on the shoulder. I think this is going to be my Easter dress. The color is fun and different than anything I have in my wardrobe.
This dress is available in size XS-XL (0-14/16).

Yes! I 100% agree! We definitely need them as petites!

My channel focuses on women over 40, so I’m excluding a lot of people there. Size inclusivity is important for me across my channel, but not in every single video and brand mention.
Nada Manley says
Sorry you feel that way. Not every brand is for every woman. I have done many videos on plus sizes, and the women who are not plus sized do not respond with anger. And tall women don’t get mad when I focus on petites. You’ll definitely be happier elsewhere if that’s how you see it.

I am 4’7″and even petites need alterations

I was eager to see what dresses you recommended for spring. I was so disappointed to see that none of them are for women who wear a size 18 or above. You are excluding a whole group of women. What happened to inclusion of all women ? I will no longer be following your blog.
