Be careful. It’s scary out there. With puffy prairie dresses and stretchy mesh crop tops popping up in stores for spring, it can be hard to know what to buy and what to skip. Fortunately, there are also so many cute things in stores for spring that if you had to start over with a brand new wardrobe, you’d be able to snap up everything you need in maybe 10 minutes.
You’ll find everything from stunning statement pieces to updated and elevated basics at all of your favorite stores and at prices to suit your budget, from a $35 dress that looks seriously expensive to an elegant and effortless designer dress for almost $500. There is literally something for everyone.
Plus, as always, the video just highlights a few of my favorite finds. Dozens more can be found in the catalog. I have spent hours and hours poring over the websites of your favorite stores to pick the cream of the crop, and I will continue to add new items and refine the catalog throughout the season!
Here, what to buy from some of your favorite stores (as voted on in the VIP group) for spring 2022:
Nordstrom
I focused mostly on Nordstrom’s own brands (Halogen, Open Edit, Treasure & Bond) for this edit, as they are great sources for affordable wardrobe updates.

Hudson’s Bay (Canada)
This iconic Canadian department store carries a mix of designer, store brand faves, and fast fashion.

Macy’s
This reliable department store features a great assortment of styles from different brands as well as the store’s own popular brands like INC and Charter Club.

Dillard’s
My go-to department store features their popular brands (Gianni Bini, Antonio Melani, Chelsea & Violet) as well as contemporary faves like Ted Baker, Vince Camuto, Free People and Astr the Label.

Old Navy
A reliable source for affordable basics and trends. I usually skip the denim here and stick to summer dresses and tops, but I did find a high-end-looking pair of jeans this season.

Anthropologie
My personal favorite for statement pieces and boho feminine chic.

Zara
Spanish fast-fashion retailer with spot-on trends.

Boden
A British retailer specializing in colorful pieces and fun prints for the whole family.

H&M
Fast fashion at affordable prices for the whole family.

Target
One-stop shopping that’s a great source for on-trend fashion.

J. Jill
J. Jill is a popular choice for women over 40 with a natural style personality, but you have to choose carefully.

Banana Republic
A great source for basics, professional clothes as well as seasonal trends.

Talbots
A preppy source for women over 40.

Loft
Colorful casual clothes and a popular loungewear collection.

J. Crew
Preppy basics with a modern laid back mood.

Chico’s
A natural/boho style retailer for women over 40.

White House Black Market
Crisp professional styles in black and white as well as seasonal accent colors.

It’s in the 3rd paragraph! I will try to make it more clear in the future. So glad you liked it!

I loved this video. Ordered 3 spring items. I wondered, however, where your hue and stripe link was. That’s where I find similar fashion in different stores and prices.

Terrific blog! I found several items that I really liked, from stores I had not checked out ( I usually tend to go straight to Banana Republic’s site), but the one I loved most was the last picture… – The signature utility blazer. And, I loved the way it looked styled with that outfit. It gives me a look to aim for. Thank you Nada!
