Happy 2022! Before we move forward, I enjoy pausing for a minute to reflect on the previous year. And by reflect, I mean look at my outfits.
Sure, other people make res_ _ _ _ _ _ _ s but those are boring and they won’t make your wardrobe any better. Unless of course, they are about style. And then you can just call them a shopping list.
But I digress.
I do not start fresh every January with an entirely new wardrobe (although not a bad idea TBH) so these clothes are still in my regular rotation, but they came together as outfits in 2021, a year that makes us all want to shake the dust off our collective stilettos and never look back. Sure, there were highlights, including buying some cute shoes and going to Chicago (where my wallet was stolen), but the police officers were nice.
Looking back on outfits can bring to mind some of the fun times we had while wearing those outfits, even if the fun included driving your teen daughters around in a perpetual loop between neighboring towns that feels like the 7th circle of h-e-double-hockey-sticks but is also the best thing you get to do with your time because they are your favorite people.
Some of these items are fancy, and some of them are super affordable, including a few finds from my Walmart Haul video and some Marshalls buys. All of them reflect real everyday style in a real small-ish town in Florida as worn by a really tired mom who is not in her 30s.
Many of the items shown here (or similar substitutions) can be found in this catalog.
So here, without further rambling, are my personal faves from 2021.

I also wanted to highlight some of my favorite looks worn by members of my Ageless Style Program. These were chosen after a quick scan through the last couple of months of the program, and there are SO MANY MORE I haven’t included because we don’t have months, but these women just make my heart swell with pride and also they are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met.
Kindness is an unofficially-official requirement to join the program.

I liked the heart sweater you wore with jeans and for the women guests, I liked the navy and pumpkin combo with a long sweater.
