Plus: Cluster Concept at Work
I’m going to make a quick attempt at a mathematical formula here.
Wardrobe Essentials + Seasonal Updates = A Beautiful Wardrobe
Only I could come up with an equation that doesn’t contain numbers. It’s a gift. 🙂
If you’ve been following me for a while, you’ll know that I created a whole download of Fashion Essentials Over 40, and it’s also the topic we’re covering right now in the my private Facebook group. The basics are deceptively simple but so critical when it comes to achieving a versatile and workable wardrobe.
But where do you go after you have your basics covered?
You start a Wardrobe Cluster.
A Cluster is a collection of 6 pieces that can be worn together to create 6-12 unique and stylish outfits.
Cluster = 3 tops + 2 bottoms + 1 jacket.
Think of a cluster as a building block of your wardrobe. If one Cluster = 6-12 outfits, 2 Clusters can equal 12-24 outfits. And so on.
And that’s how you build a wardrobe, or updated it for a season.
The Cluster I show in today’s video is a bit eclectic and unconventional (like me!), but works really well when mixed with the wardrobe essentials I already own.
“Think of a cluster as a building block of your wardrobe.”
6 pieces. That’s all you need to create multiple outfits to get you through the season in style. And I’ll spell it all out in today’s video.

These pieces combine to create multiple outfits, including the looks shown here.

What do you think of the cluster concept? And how can you apply it to your own wardrobe? Let me know in the comments!
