Ooh I love milestones, don’t you? If you’ve been following along, and trying out some outfit combos of your own, you’ve spent the first week of 2018 looking cuter than ever. I’m so proud of you guys! Thanks for reaching out and sharing some of your supercute outfits with me. Now that we’re one week in, let’s recap what we’ve covered so far:
Body Type + Color Code + Outfit Planning + Personal Style + Color Palette + Closet Apps
Whew. That’s a lot! And we’ve still got 3 weeks left… We’ve created looks with Colorful Coats, Puffer Vests, Leather Leggings (or black knit leggings, if you prefer), Black Blazers, Chambray Shirts, and Anoraks. These are all versatile pieces that I believe really deserve to be in a versatile, business casual/on-the-go wardrobe, and they’re available at every price point, and virtually every retailer, from Old Navy to Neiman Marcus. These are the pieces that show up in outfit after outfit on Pinterest and Instagram, and I chose them because they are outfit-makers. When styled properly (and I offer lots of outfit examples for each), they work for nearly every lifestyle and every age group.
Let’s continue this cute outfit streak we’re one with another wardrobe essential: The Hunter boot. It’s not just for rainy days anymore. And while I highly recommend the Hunter brand for its comfort and quality (I live in my glossy red Hunter boots!) any similar style rain boot will work in these outfits!

Cute Rain Boots for Every Budget
The classic knee-high rain boot is the most versatile and most flattering. Don’t be afraid to choose a bold color that works with your wardrobe, in either a glossy or matte finish.
I hope you’ve been inspired to wear your own rain boots in cute and creative ways this week, or to treat yourself to a pair if you don’t already have them. (Of course, these ideas work with your regular knee boots as well!)
