The only person harder to shop for than my husband is my 11-year-old daughter. Besides a pair of salmon pink Converse hi-tops and a hamster, her list is filled with cryptic landmines like clothes, jewelry, and “that cup with the bath bombs.” And since I’ve stopped buying clothes and jewelry for her without her preapproval (there is literally no rhyme or reason to her sense of style) I’ve had to get creative. Here, a few of the things I’m considering for Lola and the other teens/tweens on my list.
I love this company’s sweet and simple approach to underwear and activewear for girls. The Kick It box features 3 of the companies signature, soft sporty bras, $99. Yellowberry.com
A fashion subscription box will get her a surprise box filled with fun fashion finds based on her own personal style profile. I love KidPik, KidBox and Rockets of Awesome.

A skin-clearing mask that’s pretty enough to leave out on the bathroom counter. Queen Helene Volcanic Ash Masque, $3.18, WalMart
Sleek shades that you can feel good about giving: A percentage of the proceeds benefit schools in Uganda. Diff Astro polarized sunglasses, $85, DiffEyewear.com
Yummy treats in a cute, reusable container. Dylan’s Candy Bar Gummy Bear Cupcake, $28, Saks Fifth Avenuehttps://www.vicicollection.com/collections/slippers
Something pretty and pampering for her stocking. Formulary 55 Sea Salt & Lavender Sparkling Bath Tablet, $6, GiveLovely.com
She can never have too many lip balms. 9 all natural balms in a pretty box. Alima Pure Lip Tint Set, $90, AlimaPure.com
She can wear her heart on her sleeve with this colorful bracelet. Lara mini bracelet with heart charm, $28 malibeads.com
These are a few of my favorite tween gift ideas, from baubles to beauty products, and now, I’d love to hear yours!
