Just for a moment, allow me to take you to a very dark place, a place in which you are only allowed, for reasons beyond your control, to buy a single pair of shoes for spring. Scary, I know, but stay with me for a minute. To quote Glennon from Momastery, we are women, and we can do hard things. I am fairly certain this is what she was talking about.
(Note: I am not, for a second, suggesting you actually try to limit your new spring shoe wardrobe to a single pair. Purely hypothetical, here.)
Anyway, what would that single perfect pair look like? Maybe they would be colorful enough to bring life to a wardrobe of basics, or neutral enough to wear with everything, everywhere. They could be flat for comfort and trendiness, or high, because, well, heels are heels. They could be printed or solid or metallic or matte… but they would be the perfect pair. Imagine no longer. I. Have. Found. Them. Ten perfect pairs of shoes for spring. (You didn’t really expect me to stop at one, did you?).
As always, pictures are linked, so click on an image if you want to check a pair out!
1. Raphaella Booz Dusk T-Strap Heels
These are so pretty and airy, they look like the kind of heels that a ballerina might wear. The unexpected combination of blush and silver and vintage style makes them irresistible.
2. Alice Heel, $178
I planned to keep this list under $150, but caved when I saw these. They are worth every penny, and if I could make you buy anything, it would be these shoes, because they are just that cute, and who needs groceries, anyway? Can you imagine something that won’t look cuter with these shoes? Exactly.
3. Jeffrey Campbell “Hough” Sandals
This is just the perfect summer sandal. The heel is high enough to be dressy but sturdy enough for walking, the neutral is super versatile and a key trend for spring, and the quilted detail and ankle strap totally win me over.
4. Vince Camuto “Dalmi” espadrilles
Espadrilles, particularly flat ones, are right on trend this season and so summery and comfortable. These from Vince Camuto are a feminine take on the trend, with pretty lacy detail in silver, to go with almost everything.
5. Steve Madden Porttt F sandal
Who would not buy these shoes? They are perfection. Where else can you go and find glitter and floral and a pretty ankle strap all in one? And for less than $80. Try these with summery dresses or use them to dress up your boyfriend jeans.
6. Kate Spade Saturday sandal
I am crushed that the Saturday brand is closing, but I will console myself by snapping up some great deals, like these flawless flat sandals. The color, straps, fringe – I wouldn’t change a thing. You will wear these every day this summer. I promise.
7. Ted Baker Dawfodyl ballet flats
I know you already have ballet flats, but I am pretty sure they look nothing like these from Ted Baker. The mirror metallic and slightly pointy toe make them perfect for casual or dressy occasions. (They’re also available in black).
8. Charles Jourdan heels
These remind me of a pair my mom had from the 70s, but in a good way, since the decade is back in a big way for spring. These pretty, neutral sandals can be dressed up or down.
9. Swedish Hasbeens clogs
I like to chalk up my love of clogs to my quarter-Swedish husband, but I think it started with a pair of strawberry clogs when I was 4 – my favorite shoes of all time. These are reminiscent of that first pair. Great quality, comfort and one of the key colors of the season – cherry red.
10. Qupid stiletto pump
A pointy-toed pump is such a key trend for spring. Add suede in a soft, dreamy color and an ankle strap and you have the perfect spring pump. Pick a color you love, because you’ll be wearing these a lot this season.
I hope this roundup of hot shoes for spring has inspired you to branch out and try a new style, color or even heel height. Happy shopping!

Nada, I love your selection of Spring shoes! Of course, I’m now going to be broke, but I’ll have the prettiest shoes of any broke girl. 😉 Seriously, I really do think that the “Alice Heel’ and the “Qupid Pump,” both in my favorite colors of blue, are needs and not wants. Thank you, as always for showing us beautiful inspiration pieces!
