I apologize for taking a couple of days off from the 30 Days to Gorgeous Mom Style Series. You see, I thought I was done. I was about to post the recap when I realized that I was only at 27. Ha! Fortunately, my styling skills are way better than my math, and I have lots more to share. I won’t tell you how I discovered some of these products. Okay, I will, but quickly, because it’s long. Let’s just say it involves being out during a torrential downpour, headed to a memorial service, and realizing that I was in my husband’s car and my makeup kit was in mine. I didn’t even have a lipstick. I made an emergency pit stop at a Walgreen’s, and made some seriously gorgeous discoveries. Here, the 7 best drugstore beauty products I’ve found.
1. Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm $6.89
Everyone who tries this is instantly hooked. It glides on so smoothly feels weightless yet lightly moisturizing on your lips, and lasts and lasts without drying. And the colors are gorgeous. I love all the colors, but Striking is my summertime favorite.
2. Maybelline New York Fit Me Foundation, $5.59
This foundation is divine! And it’s $5! It’s lightweight, goes on evenly, covers everything and comes in a great range of colors. Plus, it lasts! My color is Golden Beige #240. Love!

Maybelline New York Fit Me Foundation, $5.59
3. Wet ‘n Wild Megaliner, $5.70
I am obsessed with liquid liner, but unfortunately many these days are made with felt tips, which I find much harder to use than the traditional brush. This inexpensive liner has a great, easy to use brush and a formula that stays put.
4. Physicians Formula Powder Palette Color Corrective Powder, $12.95
Physicians Formula has some truly innovative products, great formulas and surprisingly sophisticated packaging. This bestselling product is one reason why. A lightweight formula that evens skin tone and gives you a great glow.
5. NYX Cosmetics Powder Blush in “Pinched,” $5
A gorgeous rosy-coral shade with a hint of shimmer, this looks pretty on practically everyone.
6. L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Star Secrets Lipcolor, $9.99
Great concept in a creamy, long wearing formula. Pick a star with a similar skin tone, then find her favorite shade of lipstick. One of these has become my go-to neutral.
7. Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer, $6.99
This seriously erases dark circles and the applicator is hygienic and so easy to use. A real find!
