Okay, tax-free weekend is here in Florida, and although I don’t go nuts trying to buy all of their school supplies during this short, busy window, it is fun to get out and see what’s in the stores. I always loved buying school supplies as a kid, but at the end of the day, pencils and paper are only mildly exciting. Ditto for socks and underwear. Clothes, maybe, but that depends on the child… Today, we were going through the girls’ clothes and organizing some of their new stuff, and Eva told me that she only wants to wear long dresses (like a horrific flower girl dress she spotted) so that no one sees her Monkey Bar Buddies. Sigh. So I have my work cut out for me.
Sure, a cool backpack can help, but if you really want to put a smile on your reluctant scholar’s face, you might have to try harder. I think some of these tempting finds will do the trick. Which is your favorite?

I think the let’s twist again backpack is super cute! That’s my favorite. Too bad we already got our backpacks for the year. Not that I could have convinced them to go for this one anyway. They are in the sequin mood.
