A couple of days ago, Eva led me, with her little hand in mine, up the stairs to her room to surprise me. When I peeked into the loft bed that she sleeps in, concealed by a canopy, I was surprised to find all of her stuffed animals gone except for her one beloved “baby.” Normally, Eva likes to sleep surrounded by a menagerie of “stuffed-up animals”, dolls, and even books (preferably if they have little buttons that make music when you press them!). When I asked her what had happened, she replied:
“I want to see what the Easter bunny gonna bring me!”
I know how to take a hint. It looks like the “Easter bunny” is going to have to add some stuffed animals to her shopping list. For those of you who don’t have a 4 year old who knows exactly what she wants for Easter, here, a few of the things that will find/have found their way into my kids Easter baskets.
1. Egg and Bunny
Eva would adore this collectible bunny in its own beautiful egg.
2. Ears the Chocolate Bunny
Absolutely irresistible.
3. Egglo Glow in the Dark Eggs
Fun and unexpected for an Easter egg hunt.
4. Wooden Easter Block Puzzle
A sweetly old-fashioned way to keep the kids occupied.
5. Bunny Band
A little expensive, but this charming trio is a collectible the whole family will adore.
6. Chocolate Truffle Bunnies
These are almost too cute to eat!
7. Panoramic Easter Egg
A classic Easter confection.
Pretty Flower Jewelry
The sweetest springtime jewelry I’ve seen!
9. Ecofriendly Egg Coloring Kit
A natural, safe way to dye eggs with the kids.
10. Jellycat Bashful Bunny
Both of my girls’ loveys are by Jellycat, so I think this bunny would fit right in.
I hope you love these ideas as much as I do! My goal is to strike a balance between Easter-themed toys and treats and other items with more year-round appeal. Happy Easter!
