Okay, so I lied a little. I wanted to catch up this week and do my blog on boys spring break clothes, that was supposed to run yesterday, but I’ve decided to postpone that blog until next week. But stay tuned. It is coming! Now I want to get back on track and premiere my new “column,” which I hope to run every Friday, where I feature a Mother of Style. In this regular feature I want to highlight a stylish mom who is beautiful inside and out. My first stylish mom is Heather Post. She is a fellow Junior League member, and a former police offer who recently started her own company, The Etiquette Seed, which offers Children’s Etiquette Classes, Teen Leadership Programs, and Professionalism in Business Programs.
I snapped a picture of the always-stylish Heather at Monday’s Junior League meeting.
And here’s Heather’s take on her signature style:
Do you have a uniform, and what is it: My uniform is my hair up in a bun with whatever outfit I put together. I don’t feel “put together” and “business-like” unless my hair is up in a bun.
What’s on your wish list for spring, fashion-wise: As always, more accessories! and shoes!! And matching nailpolish and lipsticks!! — But I definitely want to wear more skirts and lightweight dresses this spring.
Think you have what it takes to be a Mother of Style and Substance? Then submit a picture of yourself in your signature style, along with the answers to the above questions and a little info about yourself, to the Beautymommy (that’s me!) at nada@manleymail.com. I look forward to hearing from you all!
