Sorry about my short hiatus, but I have had a fun, fashion-filled few days. It started Thursday with a model casting at Premiere Models in New Smyrna. I was looking to cast my swimsuit shoot, which took place yesterday, as well as upcoming summer shoots. I immediately cast Mallory, a stunning 17-year old with a flawless, high-fashion-type body and olive skin. Friday, after a Mom’s Day event in the park with my daughter’s preschool, I ran all over town picking up amazing items from the shoot, including glamorous swimwear from Maui Nix and the most outrageous Rodrigo Otazu jewelry from Molto Bella.
Saturday, I had the privilege of serving as a fashion judge for the elegant Art of the Automobile Event, in which I joined two good friends, Loammi and Michele, in dressing up in our best period clothing to “judge” this fun event.
Sunday, of course, was a day off – and I enjoyed a beautiful day in Orlando with my family, including a picnic in beautiful Winter Park. Monday was the day of the actual shoot, which took place in stunning Blue Springs State Park. Mallory was joined by Jared and Jason, two golden boys that served as the perfect foil for her exotic beauty. Lugging oodles of equipment and wearing heels and oodles of jewels, we trekked through jungle brush and spring waters and to land some stunning pictures. Today, I started the day running around town, dropping items off for the shoots, and then ended the afternoon with a goofy group shot of the editors surrounding a pink princess pool in our front yard. It’s a wrap, and I’m relieved, and exhausted!
