I urgently need to find bedding for Eva’s bed, since it will be here in about a week and I don’t even have sheets for it yet. So, first, as a reminder, here is what the room looks like now. The table and stools in the center will be moved, probably to the corner with the wooden storage crates. I’m not sure if the chaise will stay or not. It might look too crowded. And of course the toddler bed will be gone. As you see from the armoire, the room has sort of an old world European feel. There is a dresser that is not visible, and a small shelving system that are in the same style as the armoire. The rug is in pinks and blues and greens on a cream background, and the walls are obviously pink, but made to look aged, like a Tuscan villa. : )))
Now here are a few bedding options I’ve found, so far.
The Paris Toile Duvet Set, Pottery Barn Kids: Pretty and soft colors, but the Paris theme works a bit better for Lola’s room. This may not be vintage-y enough.
Dian Austin Sweet and Sassy Bed Linens, Horchow: Opulent and oh so girly, these linens are over the top, with a price tag to prove it. But are they too much for a three year old?
Legacy Home Essex Bed Linens, Horchow: I have always loved these, but are they too tailored and simple for her girly room. There is also a white version. I love how the sides of the coverlet extend to the ground.
Tea Time Bedding, Land of Nod: Sweet and playful, but does the duvet cover look more like snowflakes than doilies?
Juliet Bedding, Sweet Peaches Bedding: This soft, pink and tan bedding is serene and peaceful, but is it too staid?
